1-Women from Myanmar, Nepal, Sri Lanka and China have been selected for a prestigious award for demonstrating exceptional courage and leadership in advocating for justice, gender equality and women's empowerment, the US State Department has said. 

म्यांमा, नेपाल, श्रीलंका, चीन और कुछ अन्य देशों की महिलाओं को न्याय, लैंगिक समानता और महिला सशक्तीकरण की दिशा में अभूतपूर्व साहस और नेतृत्व क्षमता प्रदर्शित करने के लिए पुरस्कार प्रदान किया जाएगा, अमेरिका के विदेश मंत्रालय ने यह जानकारी दी।

2-HT Imam, the political adviser to Bangladeshi Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, died. He was 81. 

बांग्लादेशी प्रधानमंत्री शेख हसीना के राजनीतिक सलाहकार एचटी इमाम का निधन हो गया। वह 81 वर्ष के थे।

3-Retired bureaucrat Sanjay Kumar has been appointed the new chairman of the Maharashtra Electricity Regulatory Commission (MERC). 

सेवानिवृत्त नौकरशाह संजय कुमार को महाराष्ट्र विद्युत नियामक आयोग (एमईआरसी) का नया अध्यक्ष नियुक्त किया गया है।

4-Steelmaker ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India (AM/NS India) inked an agreement with the Odisha government for setting up a 12 million tonnes per annum (MTPA) greenfield integrated steel plant in Kendrapada district with an investment of Rs 50,000 crore. 

इस्पात निर्माता कंपनी आर्सेलरमित्तल निप्पन स्टील इंडिया (एएमएनएस इंडिया) ने 50,000 करोड़ रुपये के निवेश के साथ केंद्रपाड़ा जिले में सालाना 1.20 करोड़ टन ग्रीनफील्ड एकीकृत इस्पात संयंत्र लगाने के लिये आड़ीशा सरकार के साथ समझौते पर हस्ताक्षर किये।

5-Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ congratulated 12 Indian Institutions on securing a position in the top 100 in the QS Subject Rankings for the year 2021.

केंद्रीय शिक्षा मंत्री रमेश पोखरियाल निशंक ने बृहस्पतिवार को साल 2021 के क्यूएस विषय रैंकिंग में शीर्ष 100 संस्थानों की सूची में स्थान बनाने वाले 12 भारतीय संस्थानों को बधाई दी ।
